BRIDGE ORGANICS BUYS FOX RIVER PAPER MILL PROPERTY
Vicksburg, MI. Bridge Organics today signed a sales contract for a part of Fox River Paper Mill in Vickburg MI. The building is a former R&D facility that belonged to Fox River. Since 1997 Bridge Organics has been leasing the building from the mill. This is a 10,000 sq.ft brick building built specifically for research purposes and it has been updated to conform to Good Laboratory Practice standards for chemical laboratories at both laboratory and kilogram quantities. Bridge Organics is a research company engaged in preparation of complex organic compounds and in developing chemical processes for commercial scale production. Bridge Organics began operations in 1997 and was founded by five recently retired scientists/managers from Pharmacia & Upjohn. Last June the Company has signed a long-term contract with Zonagen to develop a commercially viable process for a new class of compounds for the treatment of endometriosis.
